How the pre-launch service handles information
Ordinary browsing is anonymous. The pre-launch property has no public login, analytics service, advertising tracker, affiliate cookie, or notification provider.
Browser-based controls
Temporary comparison controls remain in the browser session and must not contain email addresses, credentials, or sensitive data. Durable account, alert and delivery features remain disabled.
Confirmed South African pre-launch duties
The Information Officer registration action is complete. Any future processing must still satisfy the applicable POPIA Chapter 3 and Regulation 4 controls.
A final collection notice must truthfully cover the information and source, responsible-party name and address, purpose, voluntary or mandatory supply and consequences, applicable law, foreign transfers and protection, recipients, information categories, access and correction, objection, and complaint rights with the Information Regulator contact details.
Pretium Verum's section 51 PAIA Manual was owner approved, issued and made effective from 2 September 2026. Its download route is prepared, but lawful public availability remains a separate unfulfilled gate until the site is actually published and verified. A Deputy Information Officer is not currently treated as a blocker solely because this is a one-person operation; this must be reassessed if the operation expands.
Still unresolved
This status page is not the final privacy notice and does not prove general POPIA compliance. Actual provider, recipient, transfer, retention and collection-point facts remain unresolved until production choices exist; final notices still require evidence of implementation.
